Before our Saturday practice, my basketball team and I all
went out to breakfast at the West Alden Kitchen. We all decided to do this for
our team bonding. Mr. Delzer finally arrived, however did not want anything
because he had running around to do before practice. So, he sat down for a bit,
and then left, to go get his errands done. The waitress then came over with our
drinks and said that the man sitting with us paid for all of our breakfasts. We
were all in aw because Mr. Delzer paid for us without any of us even knowing.
It was such a nice thing for him to do! So, we all decided that in return, we
wanted to do something for him. After breakfast, we all chipped in money to get
him a card and lottery tickets. We changed the words in the card to go with
basketball. We took the card to practice, thanked him for doing such a nice
thing for all of us, and gave him the card because we love our coach!
